Default Sms Pc-blackberry Software

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone please help here - I previously had a HTC phone (MDA vario) I purchased a PC desktop software program called Bulk SMS that enabled me to send text sms messages including bulk sms messages to many recipients using the PDA phone connected as the carrier this enabled me to use any existing free text allowance I had with my current network, the only cost therefore incurred was the cost for the software and not any ongoing cost per text message which many providors charge. Unfortunetely though this program only works using microsoft active sync interface and cannot connect via the blackberry desktop software.

Can anyone recommend a solution or any other software that can be purchased to do this job? Ideally the program would need to link with outlook for group contacts and or importing address books / contacts. It would also be very usefull if which I understand some programs can do is to not just send but also to receive text messages and with some receive these as an email (although these facilities may be just web based and charged per text message sent and received.

If there isn't any software currently out there then perhaps someone is missing out on potentially a huge market??

Look foward to any possitive replies and advice.

thanks in anticipation. John

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

I don't think there is a software for the berry for this.

Alternately, check out google voice. It gives you free SMS and a free number for calling out from your computer (much like skype)
