Has anyone heard of having the blackberry "switching" to another person's email folder /facebook and other applications? I have had this happen severla times and would like to understand why (new phone/PIN and IMEI match etc)

Wirelessly posted (overwhelmingly stressed)

I have never heard of this happening.
Check out your service books on the device options>advanced options> servicebook.

Anything in there look odd such as not your email?

It is possible that the phone was issued to another user prior to you obtaining it. They may have sold it as new if the old user had it for just a couple of days. I would check with T-Mobile.

no I think not possible. I wiped it and it had yet a new person on after I wiped it. Tmobile was baffled and referred me to RIM. RIM people seem very worried and after 3 weeks of having it happen (stopped for about a week now) they will not explain or answer even an idea of what was happening. Checked pins and eimi #'s matching etc
