Telus is my provider and I just upgraded from a Curve to a Tour. I had a GPS app. called Telus Navigator on my Curve which gave acceptable GPS functionality. It doesn't appear to be available on the Tour. Any Telus customers here who might know?

Maybe the app isn't compatible with the Tour as the phone is still relatively new to the market?

Call Telus and they helped me. Not very intuitive solution but it worked

Mind if you share what the solution was? Just in case other users in the future encounter the same issue.

Sure...sorry 'bout that. Apparently some of their BBs don't come with a preloaded "link" to add apps to the phone. (My Curve did). Not good marketing. Also, when I went to the telusmobility/navigator site, it gave the feature list etc. on the app. but no link for download.
The rep. I talked e-mailed me the following link:

and it was easy from there.
The rep. told me that it was up to the dealer whether or not this was preloaded....go figure.
