Default Putting applications on the main menu

Is there any way to put a 3rd party application on the main menu screen instead of under "Applications"? It's kinda lame to have BB Messenger on the main screen but Ramble somewhere else...

Courtesy NJBlackBerry: "I assume you are using a 7100 and don't like the folder/icon structure. Neither do I. My work around is to use the Themes (see te excellent sticky thread on Themes) and I use the 7700 small icons theme. All icons appear on the home screen - the old fashioned BB home screen - and I can move and hide them as I like."

See: Moving icons *TO* home screen? for the entire thread
