Default help with copying contacts to card

hey i have a blackberry and am sick of it trading it in for a iphone in the next couple days and want to copy all my contacts to something so i can put them on the iphone i have to many contacts to put on the sim (around 500). Anyone help on how to do this. I dont want this tread to turn into stay with blackberry i have my heart set on the iphone and just need some help.

Sync to Outlook or GoogleContacts, then sync the iPhone with whichever you choose. Pick the app that works best for the iPhone however. I think it will work with both, but check it out to make sure.

Not to mention that the SIM phonebook probably doesn't contain all the info you want for each contact. It's just one name and one number per entry.
