Default Redirector on an E-bay phone?

Please Login to Remove!

I purchased a refurb 8700g off E-bay assuming my Redirector would automatically forward my e-mail if my SIM card is in the new phone. It doesn't look like that is the case. I am techno illiterate so I was wondering if any forum members can tell me what my options/solutions are. I did not receive any software with the refurb phone. Thanks for your help!

In order for redirector to work:

- you must have a T-Mobile BES data plan on your account
- your e-mail must use Outlook with an Exchange server

As far as I know, I have both. Redirector was working fine on my old phone. I now have my SIM card in my new phone. Is it not that simple? Thanks!!

Do you have to change the PIN in redirector? Activate it with the new phone? If this was a BES that is what you would have to do.

The SIM card only give you your wireless carrier account, the Blackberry data functions are normally dependant on PIN and/or activation keys.
My other Blackberry is a PlayBook.

The PIN identifies the device itself, so you need to change that as well.
