Question buying an unlocked blackberry in usa to use in uk..will it work??

hi...want to buy a one over here in usa as lost my uk one in a taxi . will my email account from arange in the uk work on an unlocked usa blackberry ,say from at&t ??? please help!

Yes, an unlocked BB from the USA should work with Orange in the UK. All you need left is to get a replacement SIM from your carrier. But getting an unlocked BB (without a contract) is generally expensive.

Sorry to hear about the loss. Don't forget to report it to your carrier ASAP as you are liable for all charges up until you report it to the carrier.

You will need to add the new IMEI and PIN to your BIS account and put in a new SIM from your carrier and it shoudl work. Might have to play with some of the settings.

Just be sure you purchase a GSM based BlackBerry - which will work fine in the UK- and not a CDMA only BB (Verizon/Sprint), which won't work there (there are exceptions, but why risk it - get a GSM BB). Good luck.
