Hi all-
I can't get my address book to sync. I have googled for solutions to "Operation terminated unexpectedly". No luck. It hangs on around the 40th-50th contact. Log doesn't show anything specific.
My idea is that I would extract my addresses from a back up i did, put them into a new address book on the PC. Tear down and delete the old one on my 8330, and resync and replace all data with the the new address book.
What do you think?
Can I get contacts from a back up? Is this a dumb idea? thougts?
I'm on a BIS obviously...

So, I'm assuming that I can extract the contacts from my back up, but how?

If all of your contacts are on the PC. I would go into the desktop manager>Backup/Restore>Advanced and Clear the HandHeld Contact Database on the device payne of the window. Then try synching again. Otherwise, search for ABC Amber IPD Converter for BB. It will allow you to extract contacts from a backup file.
