Default Blackberry Messenger: Shows I am on phone but I am not, how accurate is this?

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, so I am trying to show someone that this is not accurate. Does anyone have anything on this? I tried google but not much came up.

How accurate is this?

I am trying to prove my point that it is not accurate at all, constantly it will show me "on the phone" when I am not, even if I have full reception, it just sometimes shows that I am on the phone when I'm not.

Articles would be best, but your opinion would be good too..

How accurate are the Blackberry Messenger "Status changes"? (ie: On the Phone)....

I've seen them hang before (pre 5.0). Like if you pause music to take a phone call and then kill the music app. I almost seem with the most recent behavior other messenger contacts do not update until you contact them again(im/receive im). Or until you disconnect/reconnect with the infrastructure (reset bb) or lose data signal. But in some cases the later still doesn't "refresh" status and sometime it does....
