I am traveling overseas. Is there a way to turn on the blackberry and make it download emails only after a certain date?

For example, for the first 7 days, I have access to internet, and have checked all the emails, I only want to download emails for the 8th to 9th day so I don't get charged for all the emails. Is this possible?
