Exclamation Email Password Update Problem...

Please Login to Remove!

First I'll say, I am a new Blackberry owner. I got it back in May. It has worked wonderfully and I actually enjoy it, despite the negative reviews most carriers have made on it.

Anyway, this morning I received an alert stating that I needed to update my password for my email. I hadn't been receiving anything from my email account so this confused me as well. It gave me directions as to how to do this, however there is a problem that occurs with it.

It claims to go into email setup here on my device, and when I do, my yahoo account that I use is highlighted in red and reads, "Invalid Account. Please Validate." I click it and it asks for my password to my yahoo email account, but when it is put in, I get an error saying, "The application has encountered an error and cannot continue."

This is frustrating because I cannot access my email account via computer, nor my gmail email account, nor my facebook account because that is also linked to my email. I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to do or what is going on, whether it be an actual problem with the device itself, or just my account. I have another yahoo email account, that works without a problem.

I figured maybe I needed to do a wireless update on my phone, but there are none available.

Any information would be greatly appreciated...

I tried that, but it continues to say "Try again" each time...
