No.
Only certain things can be monitored, and no i dont know what they are.
there is a website around somewhere that mentions it
try looking in the BBFAQ to see if there is a mention of it.

I think this is what you're looking for:

What does BES see; what can be tracked/logged?

The advice I always give is if you are worried about whether or not what you are doing will be tracked, then don't do it. IMHO, it is best to use a company provided device ONLY for company business. If you feel the need to use it for personal means, then carry a personal device for that.

Maybe you should ask "them"....."They" know what they actually monitor...

That is, of course if you don't believe what juwaack68 took the time to post and provided a link for you....

Great post. Very clearly spells it all out. I've bookmarked it.

I hate to be a stick in the mud but if your working for the carrier as I am, all internet usage and web pages visited are fully monitored. My company also blocks any site they deem unnecessary for business use at the carrier level before it even gets to RIM. Ixxx8217;m not sure the average company has this ability and may be limited as stated in the Port1301 information. As Dubdub said , carry your own device.

The avererage company does have the ability to block web usage from a phone on the BES. Just like on my company computer, I can't visit web sites they block. I can't install software they don't authorize. In short, it's their phone not mine so they control what it does and doesn't do. I don't know if I can add my personal email account to my company BB because I've never tried. That's what my personal BB is for. Facebook and everything that is not company related is on my personal BB. Period. Even if they furnished a BB that was fully open and not locked down and explicitly allowed personal use, I think I would still keep it all separate.

My corporate BB is fully open and I know the BES admin and therefore I know that they don't really care. I still keep my personal stuff on a separate BB. You never know when policies may change or your employer might be digging for excuses.
