Default Way to respond with an un-synced account?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello. So ATM I have two primary e-mail accounts: a hotmail and school e-mails. My BB syncs with both hotmail/school, as does my Gmail, so I'm having to check my e-mails twice. It's a small problem, but it can be quite a hassle sometimes.

Basically I'm wondering if there's a way for my BB to respond to e-mails using my hotmail/school accounts if my BB is JUST synced with Gmail? I know I 'could' use the Gmail BB application, but I'd rather use the default 'messages' application.

Thanks for the help

FYI -BB's don't sync email.

What you can do is edit the settings for your Hotmail/school account so that the default filter is set to not forward email. That would allow you to still send email from those accounts.

Ahh sorry, I meant push. I don't forward any e-mails to Gmail or BB. For Gmail, I "Check Mail Using Pop3" for hotmail/school, and for my BB I just went into "E-mail Settings" and put in my two e-mails with passwords (push, right?).

Or do I have this completely wrong and I'm not understanding correctly?

This was a bit vague.

Log into your carrier's BIS site. Edit the account that you don't want to receive mail. For each one, set the default filter to not forward email.
