Default Contact syncronization options?

Please Login to Remove!

What can BB Desktop Manager sync with, other than Outlook?
I would like to keep a copy of my contacts, memos, tasks outside my blackberry and it looks like outlook is the only option, is it? It is for BB 8900 and 8300 (and possibly 9000).
Thanks.

There is the Google option. Keep it in the cloud! Likewise, Yahoo PIM is supported.
Other options include Novel Groupwise, Lotus Notes, MS Outlook and Outlook Express.

If you're a Mac user, PocketMac or Missing Sync (Mark/Space) allow you to sync contacts with AddressBook.app and Entourage. I recall that Eudora was also supported but I'm not so sure about that one as I haven't used it since my Mac OS 8 days.

Since Outlook Express is no longer included in Vista, (it is now Windows Mail, and luckily it is integrated with Windows Calender) but how do I set up the sync pair with it?

And Rambo, You are aware that...... ... ..

If you are looking for Windows Live info, I suggest using our SEARCH function.

Windows Mail and Windows Calendar are integrated into Vista.
Windows Live Mail and Windows Live Calendar is standalone.

Windows Live mail and calendar are the only options available when Windows 7 is released, because they are removing the integrated programs.

But Desktop manager will still only allow Outlook.
RIM should update this.
Afterall, Windows Live is free and Outlook must be purchased (with or without Office)

OE's not an option per your post:

As OE won't sync all those.

Outlook, IMO is really your best option. Yes, you do have to buy it but you can't throw a stick without hitting a copy.

Yeah, forget it. Everything besides outlook is not %100 complete, I wouldn't prefer having my info synced with different software for different sections, so I guess I would have to get Outlook.
Do they still sell outlook stand alone, maybe an older version..

I know with Office 2007 you can buy Outlook standalone.
Its possible you can get older versions somewhere like amazon.
