Got back from Canada where I had my phone off (8300) and I messed up, put it in my suit case and when I got home I proceeded to include it in my first load of laundry. It was in about 10 min. and dried it out for a few days, then put in battery and it came on, a little foggy but everything worked. Now the phone will not charge, so I chalked it up as a loss.

Now I'm upgrading with Sprint. I've ordered the 8830 model, should be getting it today. I just found out it doesn't have a camera, which isn't too big a deal.

My question is, is it worth the extra $100 to get the 9630 model instead of the 8830?

I'd get the Tour or return to the 8330, my personal opinion.

I'd probably get the Tour as well -- in fact I may upgrade soon.

Get the Tour - its a much better device than the 8800.

Really a personal choice. Read the entries in the 9600 section and then compare the features on the Sprint site.

If you find the differences to be worth it, yes. It's a subjective judgment call.
