Default Recovering a blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

So, at my company we just let go a disgruntled Account Manager. Since he did not have a VP in his title, we only connected him to the BIS service using the service Rogers offers. Before he left, he wiped all his mail and contacts. However, we were able to recover an .ipd file from his work laptop.

Is there a way to recover the blackberry (which we can do) and remove the password he applied to the blackberry?

Thanks for the help guys. I really wished that we added everybody to BES

You cannot remove the password without knowing it. But since the device is already wiped, you could enter the incorrect password 10 times which would reset the device and allow you to create or disable the password. Then you could do a restore of the .ipd file onto the device.

Depending on the date of the backup (.ipd) file, the data could be pretty old.
