OK I have taken apart my girlfriends curve to clean coffee out of it....lovely. Everything went as planned except for a little round silicone/rubber oring/washer that fell out from the mainboard. I am not sure if this s a microphone seal or what and no online video/tutorial seems to recognize this little guy. It seems that it may have come from behind the keyboard or somewhere near there. Phone works great now but I wanna replace this seal before i find out the hard way where it is supposed to go. Thanks folks.
