Default Why doesnt my computer recognize BB as its own drive anymore?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BB bold 9000 and the latest USB drivers and desktop software. Through the software I can normally transfer files etc...

BUT before my computer used to recognize the media card inside my BB device and the device itself as 2 separate drives that could be accessed normaly without using any software. This was without a doubt the fastest way to manage my files. What can I do to get that back?

-Ive tried a battery pull
-Ive tried switching to all USB ports
-Ive re-installed the desktop software

What else can I do?? PLease help
