Default Voicemail icon will not go away, help - 08-21-2009, 04:59 PM

I have erased the messages, but the icon (the little tape) is still there.

How do I make it go away? It is an 8830.

Thanks.

I am sure you did this, but you need to open phone message in the messages list or just delete it. Erasing the voicemail only will not get rid of the icon.

Sorry that suggestion was for removing the phone icon not the tape.

If that doesn't do it then try leaving yourself a message and deleting it.

Default Same issue - 09-25-2009, 11:46 AM

I have tried power cycling the device, deleting messages, adding new and deleting. But still have the indicator showing two voicemails. One thing that is different between my case and the other user is I have Visual Voicemail and the messages we not on this current line but on another number but were not deleted before the device was changed.

I have a tour with 4.7.1.40 on vzw

Left my storm for a tour and havn't looked back!

Are you deleting the voicemails or just listening to them? My tour sometimes when I listened to it but did not delete it kept them as new messages. I had to actually delete them from my phone to get it to go away. Also I have not had that problem since going to .53 OS.
