Default 8830 deleting issues, memory is not the issue

Please Login to Remove!

So my inbox and call log keeps automatically deleting itself, sometimes before I read the messages! Thought it was a memory issue, so I deleted a few programs, AND bought a memory card. I don't have much saved on the phone to begin with anyways. Thought that would take care of it... but it didn't. It's still deleting the inbox and call log. Does anybody know a solution to this problem?

The memory card does nothing for you. How much memory free is reported at Options->Status?

actually, I was wrong about how many bites I had free. BUT I upgraded my OS, which took me all nite cause I've never done that before, and I'm hoping that, along with the memory card, and cleaning out memory space will help

Wirelessly posted

I repeat: the memory card will do nothing for you, and watch out for free memory less than 10 meg.

To clarify:

The media card is there for you to store media files. It only "helps" with device memory by giving you a place to store space-hogging media files so they don't use up device memory. It does not increase device memory.
