I already have BB 8120 pearl

today I have got a new HTC touch pro , so now i want to move my contact list from BB to the HTC, i was told that the only way for that is to synchornize the contacts from BB to microsoft outlook , the move it from Microsoft outlook to the HTC , is that correct ? is it the only one ?

anyway when i do that , it only moves 20 entries from the BB to microsoft outlook , i have 674 entries in my contacts and it only synchronize the 20 entries that has email address in it leaving behind all other entries that has no emails ( only number ) , despite it says it records the 674 but actually moves 20 entries .

sorry now my HTC remains with no contacts and i even cannot start using it , can anybody help urgently ?

First, a forum site will not get you immediate help.

Outlook isn't the only way but it's recommended as pretty much everything is designed to sync with Outlook. You could also sync to the ASCII Importer/Exporter and see if you could import the file via whatever method to get it to your other device.

Check and see how many address books you have on your BB (check Options under the address book). You're probably only syncing 20 entries that belong to one of your address books but I'm just guessing.

Very good. I usually sync with Outlook and also generate a backup ipd file.

Outlook and/or GoogleSync seems to the best options at the moment.
