I upgraded my BB 8310 from OS 4.2 to OS 4.5.0.110 and now have about 20 MB (19073014 File Free). I have a 2GB SD card for my media files. The only 3rd party apps I have are Google Maps and an icon of Accu Weather (which actually I want to uninstall but I cannot find it at the application list)
My problem now is that I am losing my e-mails, sometimes during the same day. I have 3 different e-mail accounts on my BB. Although I usually don’t keep a lot of them (about 5-10 emails) now I am ending up with 1 or 2 e-mails or sometimes nothing. Normally the last e-mail remains and the previous one disappears. The “funny” thing is that I didn’t have this e-mail problem before I upgraded the OS.
Any idea why this is happening, while I am reading that if the internal memory is more than 15 MB this should not happen?
Is the device/internal memory divided in different portions, and if yes, where can I see how much memory available do I have for my e-mails?

15 MB should be ok, but go below 10MB or 12 MB and the funky behavior associated with low internal memory can ensue.

Check that on your desktop email client on your pc that you have it set to keep a copy of each email on the server.

On your BlackBerry, check that it's set to keep emails "forever" instead of the standard 30 days or less.

Cool. When it's set to a shorter time period, when each email "expires" due to age it gets kicked off your BlackBerry. Fingers crossed that this sorts it out!
