So ive been watching them on ebay. They are still expensive, and i need one ASAP.
Its not insured iwth t-mobile. and contract wont let me change.

So i saw a faulty bb on ebay*curve 8900*
The seller states

'The only problem with this phone is that it cant find any signal, and comes up with the following wording:

!! Phone not allowed MM6!!(this is why i have classed the phone as faulty)


Can this be fixed at all?

Big risk getting that phone. It may be locked to a carrier diff than the carrier he is trying to use the phone on. In that case his carrier can keep it from connecting. You can try unlocking it to see if it works. It also may be a IT policy on the device in which case you can remove the policy provided you have access to the password. The last thing is tho that the phone is stolen and the carrier that sold has blocked it from accessing the network. Those are my guesses.

Why go from one broken device to another? Makes no sense to me. If you need one, buy one!
