Default Delay in Receiving E-Mails

I have a Blackberry 8330m with service through Sprint. My e-mails come through bellsouth.net. Sometimes my Blackberry receives emails with no problem, but other times there is a long delay in receiving - sometimes up to 17 hours - and then they all come through in a group. This happens when there are no service signal issues. Any ideas?

is bellsouth.net your email ISP?

BB email is typically delayed 15 minutes as RIM polls your email servers and then pushes to you. In your case, it seems as if there could be a problem with bellsouth.

Have you tried deleted the email accounts in BIS and then reestablishing them? Sometimes that works.

You might also try a battery pull on the BB. That seems to fix many issues, however, I doubt it will in this case.

You might also try calling bellsouth.

Bellsouth (ATT) says it's not their problem. Also we have another BB through Sprint that also receives from a bellsouth email and that one works fine. Email info on the BB has been re-set twice. Pulling the battery does not help. Thanks for the response.

Did you use the same email settings on both devices?

Try deleting the PIN, re-add and resend service books.
