Hi all , just got the 8900 the other day and still learning all that IT is .

Just connected to the wi-fi at the house .......

Here's one Question ...... If not in use should I shut off the wi-fi ?
Just sitting on the counter and not in use probably uses battery and leaves the thing open for ?????
Just wondering .

Not a major battery killer. I assume you have a data plan. It becomes more of a factor if your device is in a weak signal area. Other things will also eat your battery. Leaving apps on when NOT in use. Bluetooth, etc.
