Default Finally got the blackberry working... SIM card question

Please Login to Remove!

Ok so it turns out the lady at tmobile signed me up for just an internet upgrade which would benefit the Treos and other phones HOWEVER I purchased a BB from you lady! Duh!

Every time I get a message from someone or a phone call it will only say the phone number they are calling from with no recognition of a name. Is this normal? Is there a way to make it so I can see who is calling me/I am getting text messages from?

If your device is locked, it will only display a phone number. This is for security reasons...you don't want unauthorized people knowing who is calling you. Unlock the device and look at messages, and you'll see the name of the person calling (if they're in your address book).

So you're contacts aren't in the blackberries' memory? That would explain why....
Move your contacts over to the Blackberry.
