I just bought a Blackberry Curve 8520 today and when I try to install the App World it doesnt install, apparently I don't meet the requirements.

I've checked and I do meet them all, I've updated the device software.

The only thing I can think of is that its my contract but I don't see how this would effect the installation. I have version 4.6 on my device, it has the track pad and my contract included unlimited web browsing (T-Mobile UK).

Anyone got any idea why this isnt working? Tried both OTA and installing via IE.

do you have the BB email booster as part of your contract?
If not, it wont work.

ALso, as T-mobile UK do not sell the 8520, they dont officialy support it, therefore the service books might not be in place to let app world work.

Ah, I thought unlimited web would cover this. Could that be what the phone is picking up on then? i'll pop into T-Mobile and discuss it with them and see if they can do anything, failing that I'll take the phone back and offer to pay the extra X amount for a blackberry which is supported by T-Mobile.
