Default SMS/MMS/e-mail alert tones

Please Login to Remove!

I have set the ring tone for the phone ok. Can I set the 'ring tone' for SMS/MMS/e-mails etc?

yes
same place as you were, and instead of going to phone
you go to SMS and set there
email and set there etc etc

Thanks for that but I must be doing something wrong cos when I go there i see the 'save as ring tone' but dont see any mention of SMS or e-mail. I am using the menu button in the ring tones bit of media.

No, you need to go to the PROFILES ICON.

It generally looks like a speaker. Scroll to Advanced ... select the ACTIVE profile and scroll to the individual items you want to change and make the appropriate selections.
