Default Change the Default ring tone?

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, I looked at the FAQ - and it did not help.

I have the Curve 8300. I have 4.3 os.

I am trying to find where to change the default ring tone for incoming calls.

Anyone? Like I say - I tried the FAQ and it did not work - I clicked on profile - then tried the left click/blackberry button - zip - nada. Cannot figure out where this is set. Thanks!

Open PROFILES... ADVANCED... select the profile to edit... {MENU}... EDIT... PHONE... change the tone/settings and save it.

Default Not really helping...

How do I open PROFILES? I highlight profiles and left click - but I never get to advanced?

You need to press down on the trackball.

Default No luck with this...

I have tried pressing the trackball - I see the profiles - but if I left click the profiles disappear - there is no advanced. I know it all sounds weird - but all this stuff just is not working. I eventually went to Media - and it has Ring Tones. Thanks for trying but apparently there are different versions of software even on an 8300 Curve that makes one completely different from another.

Pressing the menu key (I am guessing) in spite of the fact people are suggesting to push down on the trackball.

You're sure you're scrolling all the way down? Depending on the number of profiles you have it may not initially be on the screen.

If your BB Forums profile is correct and you're with Sprint then you don't have an 8300. You have an 8330. 8300!=8330. They're completely different models. In any case, IIRC the 8330 should have Advanced in profiles. I don't think it shipped with the older OS. If you're hitting the menu button and Profiles disappears then you probably don't have the older OS (which requires that approach).
