Default help with memory card capacity

Please Login to Remove!

Hey, I'm a brand new BB user! My BB came with a 1gb memory card but I'd like to upload all my music so need a larger card. I know I have to check the O/S to see what size my bb can support, and I know I check this on the 3rd line in options>about but is it the first set of numbers v4.6.1.133 or these >> (Platform 4.2.0.85). It's a curve 8900

Sorry if it's a stupid question, but this is all very new to me!!! Thanks to anyone who can help!

v4.6.1.133 is the OS version
the bit in brackets is the platform number, hence the word platform

With OS 4.6.anything, you should be good with a memory card up to 32GB. It goes by the general OS version, so anything in the 4.6 range should take the same size card.

Do you happen to know if Micro SDHC is supported, or just the "older" Micro SD? (On an 8300 series...)
