Default Disable receive email but allow send

Please Login to Remove!

I want to be able to setup my gmail account on my blackberry but not have all the emails go through my message list.

I like using the gmail app to receive email but I want to be able to send email using the send as email command. Long story short I want to check my email with the gmail app, and be able to send email through the blackberry menus (to allow for the sending of apps)

Can this be done?

Default

go to the BIS page, click edit on the account, and uncheck the box that says: forward messages to handheld.

Thumbs up

thanks for the quick reply...that took care of my problem. I had to create a BIS account since my work email comes through our BES. And I could not see the options you were referring to on the email settings on the blackberry.

But I believe everything should work as I want now.

Thanks for your time/help.
