Hi all-

I have a blackberry 8320 and I realized today that I was receiving the "alert" sound for a new message but when I went and looked I didn't have a new message. I talked to a friend and he said it was probably due to my low memory. So i deleted mms and sms and rebooted now that I have a lot more free space and I was wondering are my messages that I receieved but never showed up permanetly lost in technology space? Or could I retrieve them somehow?

Some apps like the Gmail app can cause an alert message.
