How do i update the fireware on vista with blackberry 2790 i want to upgrade to the fireware 2.4 so i can use the blackberry app world

The best way is from your desktop manager software. You can download it from blackbery.com if you don't have it.

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan? Please note that the 7290 is a VERY old device with limited memory and no expansion.
