I have just changed from a 8100 to 8900 and im having problems receiving my email.
Ive put in my user name and password and it keeps telling me its wrong when i know its not.....so then i try to add an account agree to terms, enter pin & imei and it says your BB device already has an account set up... i did have an account set up with my old phone and ive just transferred the sim but now i cant do anything... and if i want to add my other email address which was never on my old phone it wont let me do that either?????

Call O2, ask for technical support, get them to reset your password for the BIS account.

Did you change the PIN and IMEI from the old to the new (assuming you stayed with the same carrier). Log into your BIS site, make the changes and resend service books.

Is this 8900 new or used? You said you transferred the SIM but have you already transferred the BIS account? You would have had to log in and then supply the 8900's PIN and IMEI.

If you didn't transfer the BIS account and the 8900 is used then the former owner probably failed to delete the BIS account associated with it. In such a case you'd have to get the old owner to call his/her carrier and have the BIS account deleted. Once that's done you can transfer your BIS account and resend the service books.

If that's not the case then a different course of actions is needed.
