Incoming email speed issues.......
I have my blackberry Tour setup to receive several different email accounts. 2 of them come from a GoDaddy based email server and they come in almost instantaneous from the time they are sent to me. My other email is pulling from Earthlinks server and it seems delayed by as much as 15 minutes. I get a whole group of emails at once as opposed to them trickling in as they are sent to me. I looked at my setting for my WebMail with Earthlink, but didn't see any setting that would help this. Insight anyone? Much appreciated...........

BIS polls for email every 15mins.
only some email providers (yahoo is one of them) that provides near instant push.

Ok. But why does some of my accounts get pushed more instantly than others?

Again, it depends on the email provider and if they have set up so that email is polled more frequently then another provider. Perhaps GoDaddy is set up that way (like Yahoo! and Gmail is as well). And Earthlink is not set up that way, so it goes by the default of 15 minute for mail polling.

If you can live with the caveats (namely, you can't reply to Earthlink email with your Earthlink address) you can forward your Earthlink mail to your *.blackberry.net address for faster delivery.

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)
My hope was that some of these Corporate OWA access sites would be more instantaneous
