Cool 8300 as modem

Hello all,

I have a question, and m a newbie w bb.

I have bb 8300 from rogers, my carrier is maxis from malaysia.

I set up my bb as modem to my lappy, it is connected but i cannot browse the internet.

Pls help.

My bb version has been upgraded to 4.5.

Hi darlinski,

Thank u for ur prompt reply,..

I did try, and I did get connected to the internet,..

The problem is, my browser cannot browse..even though it is connected to the internet.

Was it because I got my bb from oversea and I can't use it in malaysia as a modem?

I'm having unlimited plan data.
