Accidentally deleted contact from "contacts" how can I restore... or is gone?

Exclamation Accidentally deleted contact from "contacts" how can I restore... or is gone?

I deleted a contact. The track ball warned me of it and I tried to roll to "ignore" but I hit delete. Can I respore the contact?

Welcome to the forums.

If you have a backup of your data, you can do a selective restore of the address book. Other than that, the contact is gone.

Definitely backup and/or sync regularly. It's very easy for mobile devices to end up broken/lost/stolen.

Guess you will need to do it the old fashioned way if you don't have a backup and can't sync with Outlook or similar program.

I did this the first week I had my phone. I deleted one of my good friends number. I know I had stayed in touch with him so I just jumped on my website and looked at my SMS history. I had TMobile when I did this, and TMobile stores what SMS texts I sent.
