Default Using Blackberry Abroad

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I'm studying in Ireland and I have a Blackberry 8830 World Edition. I have been able to call and receive texts from the US and can successfully send texts to Irish numbers but cannot seem to receive responses from them afterwards. I think its probably an issue of not having the correct international dialing code and I was wondering if anyone had a solution. Thanks.

Are you using an Irish SIM card in it?

For the country code, check the Smart Dialing settings. Phone (green) key > BB Options Key > Options > Smart Dialing
