Default 8830 in Europe?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm traveling to Europe this fall and don't want to pay the roaming charges to keep my number while I'm there. I'm assuming the 8830 is GSM capable so I'm wondering if I can just buy a SIM card once I get there and use it in my phone. Is this possible?

Yes, it's possible. The Sprint 8830 is unlocked and will accept a European SIM card.
You'll likely only get phone and SMS capabilities though. BlackBerry Data typically requires a monthly subscription.
