Default Newbie Question...

Is it possible to set the BB 8700c to NOT auto-open/display an email when I get notified of a new one in the holster and take it out? I would rather just get the roper notification of the email, then NOT have it autoopen when I take it our of holster.

Ill help you out there NJBlackBerry... This is a design feature so there is technically no way to disable it. A workaround though would be to just leave the BB in your holster for about 20-30 seconds after getting an email message. If you do that then when you remove it from the holster the email should not auto pop

Gee, thanks. I've posted that answer a few times myself. There is no way to disable the auto opening of messages.
