Default Using tmobile 8900 on Rogers

Please Login to Remove!

I have an unlocked tmobile blackberry 8900 that I use in the US on ATT when i am there and then switch out the sim card with Rogers when I go to Canada. I have a blackberry data plan with Rogers, but only voice has been working. It Isn't registered on the network and is showing edge in all lower case letters. So far Rogers has been useless and I am sick of sitting on the phone with them. What can I do to make this work

You won't like the answer, but I don't believe you can make it work that way. A BlackBerry can only be registered (for e-mail and other data) with one carrier at a time. So right now your BB is registered on AT&T. And it works on AT&T.

When you put the Rogers SIM in, all you get is GSM (voice and SMS) and no data as the device is still registered to AT&T and not to Rogers.
