Very simple, so I thought.. All I want is for my new Tour to "mirror" my Outlook on my computer. For some reason the sync. works fine for everything except my email. I have two addresses on my laptop and BB. Both work fine independantly. All I want is to be able to plug in the BB and Sync. Have both devices be "on the same page". Read, not read, and most importantly sent. I use the BB away from the office and the computer is usually off. I own a small business and things are busy enough with out trying to remember what I sent on which device. Is there any help out there? I am sure this has been discussed before, but could not find any info dealing with the new BB Tour and Version 5 Desktop.....

BlackBerrys don't "sync" email. Your computer gets your mail, and your BlackBerry gets the same mail independently. The BlackBerry can "talk" to the email servers at your provider and agree to mark some email read, unread, or deleted. These changes in an email's status will be reflected on both the pc and BlackBerry. But you cannot transfer over emails from Outlook to your BlackBerry, or vice versa, through a sync.

As stated above, email doesn't sync on the BB. It is pushed and, in some cases, reconciled. What you're looking for is full reconciliation which really only comes with BES. IIRC, gmail and Yahoo are probably second best bets if you're on BIS.

Whether or not reconciliation and what level of reconciliation is available to you on BIS depends on the type of email account and how you have it integrated with BIS. Desktop Manager and your model of BB are irrelevant. It's a matter of BIS and your mail server. Neither BIS nor BES interacts with your desktop for mail handling.
