Default Please help total noob - best BB for around $100?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all - after seeing my new HTC Touch Pro 2, my girlfriend has finally decided to make the jump to a device that has internet, e-mail, and a calendar. I owned a Blackberry before going to Windows Mobile devices and was deeply impressed by the ease of use and rock-solid reliability. She's been finding Blackberries online around $100 or so, but I really have no idea what is what.

So - I ask for your wealth of expertise. What is the best Blackberry (for Verizon) around $100 or so that would have

1. Internet
2. E-mail (gmail)
3. Calendar

Naturally, I'd like her to have the fastest, most recent device possible, hopefully with a nice, pretty screen, etc. She doesn't see any need in any extras but I'm sure she'd like them if she got them. Windows mobile devices are good for what they do but I don't want her to have to fool with the headaches of WM.

Thanks in advance - I sure appreciate it.

I believe you can get the 8330 Curve from Verizon for under $100. Great device and can do the 3 things you ask (use Outlook or Google Calendar for the calendar stuff).
No longer a BES Admin, but it was fun while it lasted!
