Unhappy Blackberry Maps, cmon already

Please Login to Remove!

I have deleted Blackberry maps from my Verizon Wireless 9630 Tour. I then discovered that i needed it to run Weather bug.

I have tried to download it via Blackberry's website. I am getting the following error message (axError.gif - Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry Maps.)

When I go thru my Blackberry Browser this is the message I get. (Notice - Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry Maps)

I have wiped my phone in hope that it would reinstall but it did not. I have run out of ideas and I am hoping that someone here may know the answer. I have searched the formums to the best of my ability without success. Anyone have an idea?

Log on to desktop manager and go to the app loader and put it back on.

Wirelessly posted (Tour)

You need the operating software for your specific BB. Install it on your PC. Then follow the instructions in the 9600 forum for installing the OS. Make sure BB Maps is checked.
