Default Data Usage questions

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys
I'm new to the blackberry world... got my first one yesterday

I was wondering a few thing about data

do unread emails count towards data usage? for example u set up you hotmail on ur bb.... and you get junk mails but you dont open them because they are junk mail do they still count?

msn.... if you leave it signed in all day (on purpose or by accident) does it just rack up the data or is it just by msgs u send or receive?

Should since they are still received just not looked at. Does your carriers data package limit you?

Data is data. It has to get to the device somehow. Doesn't matter if you don't open it.

Some IM apps use data, others use SMS. Make sure you know which yours uses. I suggest you search on MSN and check the Aftermarket Software section.

I do not use MSN, bit I think it is data.
