Default A couple of problems with my Bold...

Please Login to Remove!

...first: I have two email accounts set up through the 'normal' email system - not BES, in other words. I get emails fine, but sometimes an email will come in from an 'unknown' account - which is really one of the other ones - and it will be impossible to reply to, because the reply has no 'send using' field. I can save the draft, but that's it. It's incredibly obnoxious!

Second: I'm roaming in Tokyo (figuratively and literally). I set myself up with an unlimited data plan so I could use google maps and the GPS to keep track of where I am - but google maps fails utterly even with a 3G connection. It loads in fits and starts, and usually just sits there saying 'loading...' after working for a couple of minutes. I called AT&T about the issue, and after the usual 'pull the battery' stuff didn't work, they said, "Well, sometimes it works, and sometimes it don't."

Great. Thanks. Oddly you failed to mention that particular feature BEFORE you sold me all this stuff.

Any ideas what's up? I had horrible problems getting skype to work - until I set it to use direct TCP instead of BIS. I'm wondering if something similar is at work with gmaps - but I can't find an option. I'm here for another 5 days, and would really like to make this work... Thanks in advance!
