Default Should I return to Blackberry?

I love Blackberrys. I also love the iPhone.

I started with the Pearl 8100. Then I got the original iPhone. After some time with that I got the Curve 8310. After that phone broke I got a unlocked Storm. The Storm didn't really live up to my expectations so I got the Pearl 8120. Then I got the Curve 8900. I love(d) the Curve 8900 but for some reason I decided to get the iPhone 3GS. Now I really miss my Curve 8900. I would have to get the phone without contract so if I decided to go back to the Curve I would have to spend $450 before tax. I would buy from e-bay and save around $50 but I had a really bad experience with Blackberrys on e-bay so I don't do that anymore.

Some of the things I miss about Blackberry are:

-BBM! Pretty much everyone I talk to has it so I would be saving money because I wouldn't need the unlimited text plan.

-Push e-mail.

-All the customizable options.

-Best keyboards. I love their QWERTY's, SureType, and I was able to manage with SurePress.

So what do you think? Is it worth the money to go back to Blackberry. Should I wait for future phone models? Any advice would be great!

Wirelessly posted (Tmo's cheapest BB customer)

Given your history, how likely do you think you'll stay with it before something else catches your eye? =)

Very true. Haha I go through phones like I go through clothes. And I was only listing Blackberrys and iPhones. I also had other AT&T phones mixed in there. Including: Blackjack II, Shine, A737, and some others.

true! till another shiny new toy catches your eye, you'll probably hang on to a bb that you may trade your iPhone in for! the question is.. would you trade your BB for another BB? or would you just get the palm pre?

Now might be a good time to sample the wares from Nokia. Much easier to buy a used Nokia than a used BlackBerry. Cheaper too! Wait out your contract so you can get back to BlackBerrys with a discount/subsidy. Or pick up a used BB from a trusted forum member right here in the Buy/Sell/Trade section. There are usually some listing from people who want to trade an iPhone for a BlackBerry.

I tried to venture away from Blackberry cause I didn't want to pay the data package. I had the pearl 8130 and the curve 8330. Went to a couple regular phones with Verizon even the Env Touch. As soon as the Tour hit I was right back never to stray again. It just does to much not stick with it. Plus you are on ATT and they are getting the 9700 sometime "soon" hopefully. I would get that in a heartbeat if I was on ATT.
