Default Half of Memory

Please Login to Remove!

I bought a new blackberry yesterday! with 256mb

i have only got 116mb left is that normal i have only got a facebook app and alll my pictures,music, vidoes etc are on my memory card

is this normal? please help

if not what am i doing wrong!

That doesn't sound too bad. Try pulling the battery while it's running to force a reboot (won't lose any data), then check your free memory again right away when it restarts. I'm guessing it won't be much more right after restart.

how do u pull the battery to force a reboot?

Just pop off the back cover and yank the battery out. Seriously, that's all there is to it. The old Palm Treo phones had a reset hole you had to poke with the tip of your stylus. BlackBerry does it by taking out the battery while the device is powered on.

If you do this on a regular basis you might consider an app to restart your BB automatically. Quick Pull Pro does this for you, and you can schedule it to happen overnight, while you're asleep.
