Default What version of BIS?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi There - for some reason I was wondering what version of BIS my carrier (who is O2 in the UK) is using!!

Could somebody please inform me of how I can tell what version of BIS my carries uses - I can not see anything stating a version number when I log into my carriers BIS site.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that BIS version 2.8 is either out now or being rolled out - I assume that this brings new functionality alongside the new version 5 OS for the handhelds?

I have an 8310 though so I do not think this will apply to me, but it got me wondering how I can tell what version of BIS my carrier uses

Thanks
Andrew

You are most likely on BIS 2.8. That should have been rolled out a week or two ago. The US got it on Sept 26 (or were supposed to get it them) and Europe probably was the week before.

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

If anyone asks you , tell them you are using 2.8. I am not noticing any differences yet in my part of the world.
