I have a 7510 upgraded with 4.02 OS on Nextel Service.

This just happened last evening.

The phone will not ring or vibrate on incoming calls and messages. I checked PROFILES and I have LOUD enabled. LOUD dictates that incoming phone calls, Direct Connect and Messages RING + VIBRATE. The only thing that happens is that the red led on top of the phone flashes.

I can manually play ringtones, so the speaker or speaker driver is not blown, but it is weak in volume.

I enabled the VIBRATE profile and called my Blackberry but the phone did not vibrate.

I switched service back over to my i860 camera phone.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Have I overlooked a setting?

Have you pulled the battery and reset the device?

I did a master radio reset, good enough?

Also how could I test this since it's no longer activated on my account?

Just performed the recommended reset (battery removed, hold power key for one minute) and I received a network notification of a voicemail waiting (apparantly from last night). The phone vibed and rang.

What causes this?
